The New American Songbook: Writing Original Music for Jazz Vocalists In this hands-on clinic, participants will gain composition skills to write original music for solo jazz vocalists. The clinic will focus on approaches to writing lyrics, developing a melody, and expanding harmonic language. Participants will analyze and listen to examples and practice their skills through writing exercises.
