JazzVoice offers our members a treasure trove of useful resources, high-quality classes, and a curated educational experience that dives into topics that every jazz vocalist can benefit from.
Every month on JazzVoice features two opportunities to sing in a master class, two jazz vocal skill building workshops, a career development workshop, a new member orientation and a jam session. And you can book private lessons, look through our 400+ classes video library, browse our curated bookstore, or take an asynchronous course. Every year we get together in person at the Virginia Beach Vocal Jazz Summit!
OUR STORY
Once More, From the Top
JazzVoice grew out of a desire to connect when we were most isolated. During the height of the pandemic, founder Alexis Cole resolved to find a new outlet for her lifelong love of all things jazz.
After assembling a loose team of peers and educators, Alexis created an online ecosystem that brought together vocalists from around the world. United by a shared love of learning, artistic exploration, and performance - the JazzVoice platform quickly became a welcoming space for thousands of professional and aspiring singers.
A year later, Alexis co-founded the Virginia Beach Vocal Jazz Summit after years of laying the groundwork with Liz Brydge and the team at Zeiders American Dream Theater. Now every first weekend of June, our online community assembles to celebrate face to face.
